Pennsylvania authorities shut down three different day care facilities in western Pennsylvania after a seven-year-old boy nearly drowned.

The boy, who nearly drowned during an overnight camping trip, was rescued by a nine-year-old girl, who saw him when no other adults did and dove into the water to pull him out. 

The daycare, run by Kid Biz LLC, has reported that the centers have offered camping trips for 15 years without incident. In addition, 300 children will be affected by the shutdown.

Pennsylvania authorities reportedly cited her business for "gross incompetence, negligence and misconduct" after reports say she allowed children to swim in a pool without a lifeguard, however briefly.
