Girl Drowns in Crowded Pool

Joanie Logan, 3, of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, died earlier this summer when she drown in a private club pool while hundreds of people swam and sunbathed nearby.

The pool accident occurred on Memorial Day weekend, at a private club in an area called the Main Line at St. Albans pool.

The girl's parents were at the pool and lost sight of their daughter for just moments, reports say. The girl apparently followed some of the older girls to deeper water. They found her a few minutes later floating in the water.

Attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful and she was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
