Woman Found Dead in Boyfriend's Bathtub

The death of a 63-year-old woman who was found last Friday night bent over a bathtub with her face submerged in water is still being investigated by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, reports say.

The woman, Claudia Brazington, was pronounced dead at the scene of her 70-year-old boyfriend's house on Woodway Avenue in Libby, Montana. She had only been dead for a short time, reports say.

Her boyfriend apparently called emergency crews, saying he had just arrived home and found a woman in his bathtub who wasn't breathing. She was fully clothed and the water was running when she was discovered, according to reports.

Evidently, the man didn't recognize Brazington. But the circumstances surrounding her death - and Brazington's explanation -- are abnormal, reports say.

Drowning was listed as the cause of death, but investigators have not determined whether the death was an accident or if foul play was involved. Alcohol was apparently a factor in the incident.
