Fisherman Possible Drowning Victim in Lake Lagonda

Lake Lagonda, Florida deputies found the body of a man who may have drowned in the lake last earlier last month, reports say.

A 911 call came into emergency services and the Interlachen Police Department, with the caller saying a man was drowning in the lake, reports say.

When emergency crews arrived they found no body. But divers searched the lake and eventually found 39-year-old Charles Skeen in about 8 feet of water.

Evidence suggest that he was fishing and was wading out to a sandbar when he came across deep water and began to flounder. But a major crimes detective has been assigned to the case, and investigators are going to have an autopsy done to determine Skeen's cause of death.
