Boy Drowns at Hotel Pool

Reece Mitchell, 4, of Midland, Texas, was found at the bottom of the MCM Grandé Hotel FunDome pool in Odessa recently while surrounded by numerous other guests and accompanied by siblings and adult aunt, reports say.
One of the boy's siblings noticed him at the bottom of the pool and pulled him out, reports say. CPR was performed on Reece and Emergency Services was summoned. The youngster was transported to Medical Center Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Grandé Hotel's pool, which is both indoors and outdoors and split above the water by a glass wall that allows swimming from one section to the other, had no lifeguard.
