Drowning Death an Accident

The drowning death of a four-year-old boy in a backyard pool in Groton, Massachusetts over the Fourth of July weekend has been ruled an accident, reports say.
The boy was pulled from the pool on Monday night, but the circumstances surround the accident were not released. His name was not made public either, reports say.
EMS was summoned and the child was transported to Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer by ambulance; he was pronounced dead there, reports say. Foul play is not suspected.
